We currently have a vacancy for a Senior GIS Analyst within the Data Team.
The ABPmer Data Team deals with a variety of work in the fields of GIS, data management, remote sensing and other IT related topics, combined with a range of subjects such as environment, coastal protection, renewable energy locations, flood risk, etc. Duties will include the management of GIS projects, provision of technical advice, proposal and report writing and some marketing.
Applicants should preferably have some formal training in GIS and a degree in a marine related subject, they should also have at least 5 years commercial experience of ArcGIS and other ESRI products (i.e. ArcSDE and ArcGIS Server) within the marine environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new areas of work and will be a leading member of the Data Team.
