ABPmer Rides Again!

ABPmer has entered a team for the Deloitte and Sailor’s Society Charity Cycle, which starts and finishes in Southampton’s Mayflower Park on Sunday 10th May. Chris Jackson, Colin Scott, Alison Houghton and Nick Kitson have all pledged to complete the 45 mile ‘Downs Challenge’, which takes in the Hampshire Downs, Stockbridge and the Test Valley.

In addition to the generous support of their family, friends and office colleagues, the team has been delighted at the response of their local business contacts, with early pledges of support from A&A Business Supplies and Kuti’s Royal Thai Pier restaurant.

Bill Cooper, Managing Director, has always viewed community support as an important part of ABPmer’s corporate & social responsibility ethic “I’m delighted that my ABPmer colleagues have chosen to participate in this charity event to raise funds for the Sailor’s Society, which should rightly be a cause close to our hearts, given our location and the nature of our business. I encourage all our friends, colleagues and contacts to support the team in this very worthwhile effort

The team’s ‘Just Giving’ web page, where sponsorship pledges and donations may be made online can be found at:  www.justgiving.com/abpmer_getontheirbikes
